* Green Mountain ups bid for Diedrich Coffee

* Revised bid matches Peet’s Coffee offer

* Diedrich Coffee says board considering both offers

Nov 24 (Reuters) – Diedrich Coffee Inc (DDRX.O) said Green
Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc (GMCR.O) raised its offer to buy
the company by $2 a share, matching rival Peet’s Coffee & Tea
Inc’s (PEET.O) enhanced bid.

Diedrich said its board was considering Green Mountain’s
revised offer of $32 a share and has informed Peet’s Coffee
about this latest development.

On Monday, Peet’s Coffee & Tea had raised its
cash-and-stock offer to buy Diedrich to $32 a share, or $261

Peet’s can negotiate an amendment to its current merger
agreement with Diedrich Coffee by Nov. 27.

Separately, Peet’s Coffee said Diedrich’s board has sought
additional time to analyze Green Mountain’s proposal.
